Mabel founded Medical Management Associates of Yuma in 1994.  She worked in medical billing for more than 25 years.  She provided professional services for several physicians in Yuma, Arizona in the areas of Family Practice, Anesthesiology, Pulmonology, Neurological Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Critical Care Billing, Cardiology, and Neurology.   Before opening the business she was employed as a Certified Medical Assistant in a physician office, worked fifteen years in a family practice office, and ten years in neurosurgery.  She was a Certified Medical Assistant, a member of the American Association of Medical Assistants where she served as President of the Local Chapter, President of the State Society, and was elected to serve as Delegate to the National Convention of AAMA on five separate occasions as well as a member of the American Association of Professional Coders (AAPC).
